Get Out Of Your Own Way

Get Out Of Your Own Way

This one is short and sweet.

This week I've had several conversations with a number of smart people about confidence (or lack thereof).  No matter the person, we all lack confidence at certain moments in our lives. It’s part of the human condition, and not something you should accept as permanent. Shake it off, move forward. Talk to a forward-thinking friend, a positive-minded colleague, read a book to get inspired.

Why shouldn’t good things happen to you? You deserve it.  Get out of your own way and move one step at a time toward the path you desire.

This quote came across my desk yesterday, which I interpreted as a message worth sharing!

Be great,

Ian

"Today I want you to ask yourself this one question. 'Why not you?' Why not you to do something for work that you love? Why not you to have a healthy body? Why not you to have healthy love? Why not you to be, have, or do anything you have ever dreamed?! We are so quick to think others are deserving over ourselves. The truth is that we are all deserving so why not you?!" Your article has just prompted me to ask the question I sometimes have to ask myself multiple times a day: What would I do right now if I had no fear?
