Get out of that invisibility cloak!
Just me in the zone of work!

Get out of that invisibility cloak!

This is it. This is what we don't talk about enough, isn't it?

As solopreneurs, we fight our own game, often behind an invisibility cloak.

You might be thinking, Divya, what're you getting at?

Hear me out:

There's no boss or manager to look at us and appreciate us for anything we do.

We do our epic shit online and then we look up and there's absolutely no one to send us an email of encouragement or give us a thumbs up for it.

Sure, our clients might leave us a good word once in a while, but when we're creating a new business strategy, fleshing out content for our newsletter/blog/podcast/social media, when we're figuring out the high-level stuff of running a solo business...

We are virtually invisible!

Sitting perched on our desks in a small corner of a cafe or our home or office, we try to drown the outside noise and distraction...

We put our phones on airplane mode and switch up do-not-disturb signals everywhere...

Because this is our time to create, head down, coffee hot, hair in a messy bun!

...And while that's what we need, we also sometimes crave visibility and acknowledgment for what we're accomplishing week after week, all by ourselves- keeping our business afloat and offering value to our clients and marketing and all of the works!

I know, friend, it ain't easy. Why do more people not quit their jobs and start freelancing? Because not everyone is cut out for this and that's fine.

But as we stretch ourselves day after day and tread unknown territories, I just want to say, I get it. I see you, my friend, I see all the hours you're putting in- all the work you're doing, all the stuff you're ditching- just to create your own magic in the world.

I see you and I want to appreciate you for the magic you bring into this world. Think of me as a friend high-fiving you for everything you did this week so far.

Before asking you about what magic you've been creating this week, I want to share something with you...

I've been working really hard these days. I've been running the Lurking to Leveraging LinkedIn Lead Gen for Solopreneurs group coaching program.

Now, I have all the learning lined up for everyone who signed up. But, I'm also figuring out- What else might they need? And I'm shooting videos and delivering on those things.

After this wraps up, I will have a pretty dang good hang of what future students will need from the program, and frankly, all of that will be in place already before I welcome the next wave of students.

However, just the part where I create content and then send it out to all the current students takes a toll on my days. This is me figuring out everything for them before they even have to ask- that's what I promised

...That the program will be a one-stop-shop for them to make LinkedIn work for their business- generating leads consistently and feeding them into their pipeline!

As I'm into this work- one of the participants tells me on a LIVE call that just the first session about her LinkedIn profile was worth the ENTIRE price of the program.

You don't know the heck of a happy dance I did there!

And as I realized my own need for appreciation, I thought about you!

I'm sure you've been deep into creating and building your business and everything that comes with it.

Not everyone can do this. And you're pretty special that way!

All of this isn't for nothing. Keep creating magic in your own solo way!

P.S. What magic have you been creating lately? I'm curious. Hit reply or comment below!

Great article. For a solopreneur delivering results without any guidance or supervision is a hectic process. Glad you addressed it.
