"Get Out of the Go Lane!"
The person I first heard that statement from drives fast. When the Southwest plane I was on early this week gets to 150 MPH it starts it's takeoff. The person who I heard this from goes 40 MPH faster and then turns left. NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson over next 9 days will be going 200 MPH and turning left. His frustration - Left Lane Hogs.
You know the type. The self-appointed speed limit guardian who goes the speed limit in the left lane. Try that on 128 in Boston. Try that on LBJ in Dallas. How about I-80 in Wyoming? Better yet 44 near the Joplin MO area.
After the 25th car passes you on your right - maybe you should get a little self-awareness and do what Jimmie says - "Get out of the Go Lane!" Yes the speed limit is 65 and you are doing 70 - but traffic is moving at 75. You are not that smart, you do not know better than everyone else - you are in fact a safety hazard. Ask your local law enforcement officer about this one. Is Speeding wrong? Well you get tickets for it so it must be wrong. But being a left lane hog will get you a ticket as well. What does that say about it?
And yes - The left lane hogs were out in full force this beautiful Friday Morning!

8 年Don, having moved from Kansas City back to Atlanta last year.......I would take KC left lane all day long and still add two hours back to my personal life. Hope you're well.

8 年I am right there with you Don. This is my biggest pet peeve. I see it in business as well. People taking their sweet time to get the job done. It is bad when the customer has more urgency in the matter than the Left Lane Hog employee.
