Get Organic Traffic And Convert It!
Want more organic traffic?
Don't target keywords. Google instead favours targeting a topic and covering it from all different angles as thoroughly as possible.
Covering a topic holistically means that you will also serve the user intent.
Users will learn anything there is to learn on your website and won't go elsewhere.
??And you guessed it right - the conversation rate will increase.
Okay, so how do I build one?
Start with Seed Keywords
Definition: Seed keywords are broad terms related to your business, products, or services.
Process: Brainstorm a list of terms that potential customers might use to search for offerings.
Consider the unique selling propositions and the problems a business solves.
Let's take the term "gym supplements" for example.
Google provides us with its autosuggestions list and we will focus on:
1. Gym supplements list
2. Gym supplements shop
3. Gym supplements near me
? Scrolling down we will see the People also Ask section.
These are good questions to build an advice hub or series of blogs.
We get the following:
1. Which supplement is best during a workout?
2. Do gym supplements make a difference?
3. What is the most important supplement for the gym?
At related searches, we also get.
1. Best online supplement store UK ( because I am in the UK ).
2. Top 10 bodybuilding supplements
3. Best gym supplements
All I have to do is now go and build the content around all these and then internally link the pages with each other.
Done? No, not yet.
Now what I do is build my SEO Strategy around the buyer's journey.
Building content around their buying stages will enhance performance and subscriptions as a result.
Note: I have already built a buyer’s persona.
Here's the type of content that you want to serve for each stage.

Convert your Organic Traffic
Now that we have got the traffic. How do we convert it?
Here's how I do it:
1. Define the USP ( unique selling proposition ) What does the business do that nobody else does?
2. Target of desired audience.Building the Ideal Client Profile.
Another thing to look at is the Ideal Client Circumstance and Ideal Client Audience ( who are the point of influence of your ICP ).
3. Craft my copy in a way that I communicate to the audience:
a) We solve the problem and reduce pain.
b) We understand their desires.
c) We paint the future outcome.
d) We know their objections and offer a solution on the spot.
After all that has been determined I have a look at the online World.
1. I Research and see who is doing better on the SERPs.
Matching the user intent is just the first step.
Knowing when to serve the right content is another ball game.
2. After the research is done, I go and make something better.
3. The length of the content does matter as well. I want to be close to the average length but if I can provide more value in a shorter form I go for it.
4. I Go after the high-difficulty and money keywords first.
I include the content I want to promote on the homepage. And then add internal links to these pieces.
5. I Produce two pieces of informational content before one with a transactional intent.
When producing the pieces of content with a transactional intent I add testimonials and case studies to make it more powerful.
6. I use a CTA differently.
I focus on MWA - Most Wanted Action. What is the most wanted action I want users to take?
If it is for them to make a call, I state that INSTEAD of: "subscribe to our email"
User Intent, UX and UI
Last but not least I focus on UX and UI. In other words, why is the user on my page and what do they expect?
For example, If we have an e-commerce website for example keeping the products at the top of your page is a must.
How do we then cover the topics above?
You can introduce dropdown menus with all the relevant information you want to have on the page.
You get SEO and UX to work together without taking the space of the featured products.
Remember the user is expecting to see the gym supplements not 4 paragraphs on the history of gym supplements. There is Wikipedia for that.
I hope you like this one.
There are many other tactics we can use to increase organic traffic and our conversation rate. I shall touch on these in the future.
Have a great week! :)
