As a mirror that reflects our cultures, stories, and realities, art has always been a vital part of our communities. It has the ability to represent the core values of a community and the way in which its members relate to each other.
Art is the embodiment of real emotions, characters, and events. It tends to give meaning to a place, its inhabitants, and their way of life.
Regardless of individual beliefs or perspectives on life, most people can agree that they want to make a difference and help the next generation. This applies to all areas of life, and art is no exception.
But what about the people who make the art?
When it comes to local artists, we must remember that art cannot exist in a vacuum. It has a two-way street, an exchange between artist and audience that has a ripple effect on the individuals and communities that surround them.
In today’s ever-evolving creative landscape, independent artists are carving THEIR OWN PATHS and making their mark in the industry.
What can you do to support your local art communities?
The idea was born: to create a project that would bring together professionals and amateurs to popularise local art and design. Organised by DAS, in co-operation with INSIDE Interiors, I was honoured to be involved in this project, from working on the initial design idea to bringing it to life and making it happen.
The 300 sq.m. space will showcase the art of local artists who combine creative disciplines such as interior design, furniture, fashion, graphic design, and industrial design.
As this was a non-commercial project, the space required some work. No investments, but maximum result!
Next, let's see what we achieved on a CGI's as for the main idea of how we want to organise our space.
The aim of the event is to discover new design brands, facilitate communication with interesting people, encourage professional dialogue between colleagues, and support the birth of new joint projects in various fields of culture and business.
And here's our final result!
