What do you love about the Bay Area?

I love the scenery of Santa Cruz County. The beach is right in our backyard.? If I want to go on a hike, we have a forest in the area as well.???

What building materials are people asking for these days?

Brick is becoming more popular again with projects. People are also trying to capture a more rustic/farmhouse look.? Permeable pavers are also being requested a lot more for both commercial and residential projects.

What Bay Area team do you root for the most?

Golden State Warriors. I’m a big fan and try to watch as many games as I can.

If you like to hike or be outdoors, do you have a go to spot?

I like to take my dog on walks at Manresa Beach.? I also like to go on hikes at The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park.

How do you balance cost, durability, and aesthetics when recommending materials?

I start by asking what type of color stone we are trying to use for the project. If there is a budget, we are trying to be conscious about which materials best fits? their project.

What is your favorite part about working at Peninsula Building Materials?

The family atmosphere you feel when working for PBM. People genuinely care and want to help you succeed.?

What is a memorable challenge you faced with building materials, and how did you overcome it?

During the pandemic, it was a challenge at times. Material was very difficult to get, and clients had to put their jobs on hold or source alternative products..

What gives you the most gratification working with clients?

It gives me great joy when the client reaches out to let me know how happy they are with their finished project.? A job well done with great hardscape or building materials provided by Peninsula Building Materials.
