How does your background in real estate and construction help you at Peninsula Building Materials?

My background in Construction and real estate has helped me by building relationships with clients and partnering with them to find solutions for their projects.

How often do you visit the Pacific Grove Showroom? What do you do there? (talk about why you love having it available).

I am at the Pacific Grove showroom daily. I love having it available to clients so that they get to physically touch the stone and have it as a visual with natural light.? Seeing stone just in a brochure doesn’t capture the variation of color that is available with product samples. Additionally, it allows clients the creativity to see the different ways the same stone can be used.

Why is durability particularly? important to clients in the Monterey area?

The factors that are the most important are the use for the material and the durability.? Monterey is different because of the ocean and the salty air.? We have building materials and hardscape materials perfectly suited for this climate.

What is your favorite part about working at Peninsula Building Materials?

I really enjoy the whole PBM team and the customer service that the company has provided for years.

What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t working?

I enjoy being with my family and cooking, baking and gardening.

What trends are you seeing with natural stone these days??

I see a lot of mixing and matching different natural stones with a variety of textures to create some contrast.

What do you like most about the community in Monterey County?

I love that Monterey County has such a great community spirit, natural beauty and its richness in culture.
