1. What's your role at Oprema?

I’m a hybrid Business Development Executive based in Hertfordshire, working with Team South East.

My day typically involves catching up with clients, quoting and going over tender requirements, ensuring that all of our customers are up to speed and happy, and dealing with customer enquiries.

My goal is to provide each and every customer with a 5-star service and experience while using Oprema, all while helping them to win jobs and get orders in!

2. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

Canary Wharf. I love the aesthetic of the area, I find it empowering. I also found out recently that my grandmother and family previous to her grew up on the Isle of Dogs – it would be nice to plant my roots where they were once upon a time.

3. Who is your favourite sports team?

Arsenal, I was named after them; with Highbury being my middle name, I don’t have much choice!

4. What did you want to be when you were younger?

When I was very young I wanted to be a lawyer, followed by a scientist, then a guitarist. I believe I’ve planted my feet firmly in the world of sales now, which I’m certain young me would be exceptionally happy with.

5. Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not live without?

Cliché, but music. It has the ability to change your mood and influence your actions. A world without music would be incredibly dull.

6. What was your favourite holiday ever?

I went on a skiing trip to Vermont when I was 14 with my secondary school, and it was the most memorable holiday by far. I had a very enthusiastic ski instructor, he managed to get me from being barely able to ski 10 feet to blazing black diamond trails down the mountain within a week.

7. What is the one thing that instantly makes your day better?

A hard gym session. The endorphin rush after never gets boring. I always walk out with a big grin on my face.

8. If you could choose one superpower, what would it be?

Probably Manipulation. With that, you could do absolutely anything. I don’t believe there’s a more powerful superpower out there.

9. If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to and why?

Any time between 1980 and 2000, the ‘Golden Age’ of Wall Street. I was always fascinated by stockbroking, to see it go down how it used to would be amazing.

10. Have you got a useless talent?

Not sure I can call it useless, but I’ve played the guitar since I was 10 years old and love to play the piano. I’ve been very musically-minded all my life – the only instruments I can’t play well are wind instruments. It’s something I enjoy just as much now as I used to; it helps relieve stress, and usually shocks people and they find out!
