I’m Natasha Bacheyie Taylor, a physical therapist, fitness coach, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience helping people manage pain, prevent injury, and regain confidence in their bodies. Whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or simply feeling the effects of a sedentary lifestyle, my mission is to show you how physical therapy and movement can transform your quality of life.
My Vision: A Work in Progress
Black Star Physical Therapy and Wellness started as a dream—a vision of a space where physical therapy and fitness coaching could merge seamlessly to create long-lasting change. Today, it’s a work in progress, and I’m excited to share every step of the journey with you.
While I’ve had my fair share of challenges—learning to market my services and navigate the world of business as a solo entrepreneur—there have also been incredible wins. One of the biggest has been growing in confidence, both in my skills as a physical therapist and in recognizing the value I bring to my clients. It’s been rewarding to hear my clients say they feel stronger, pain-free, and empowered to take control of their health.
What I Do (and Who I Help)
When most people think of physical therapy, they picture athletes recovering from injuries, people rehabbing post-surgery, or elderly individuals with mobility issues. While these are certainly important parts of my work, my services go beyond the traditional. My expertise lies in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, and my clients range from busy professionals with desk-related aches and pains to moms who need help managing post-partum back pain or professionals trying to stay active despite a packed schedule.
If you sit at a desk all day, feel stiff in your neck, shoulders, or back, or even find yourself dealing with frequent headaches, I’m here to help. It’s not just about treating pain—it’s about teaching you how to prevent it and take charge of your health.

The Joy of Educating
Recently, I’ve been diving into creating educational content on YouTube, and I’ve discovered how much I enjoy it. One of the most common misconceptions I hear is that physical therapy is only for people in extreme cases. Through my videos, I’m working to change that narrative. Physical therapy is for everyone who wants to move better, feel stronger, and live without fear of pain holding them back.
For example, in my latest video, I discuss the health effects of prolonged sitting and why incorporating posture breaks and regular movement throughout your day can make a world of difference. If you’re a busy professional glued to your desk, this one’s for you!
