Q: Tell us about your career journey at J.Crew Group (JCG).?

A: I started at JCG in 2003 as a Store Manager in New York City. I was very excited to join JCG as you can impact and own the business.?The scope of my role continued to expand, and I went on to manage multiple districts, eventually leading to my current role as Regional Vice President of J.Crew Factory East Coast.?

Twenty years later, I feel the same excitement and passion about JCG and am proud to say that every associate can make an impact on the company and our community.?

Q: What do you love most about the Stores team??

KI: Our culture. We are a diverse, passionate, driven, and collaborative?team. Our store teams and customers are the reason I love my job. I look to our associates to keep me updated on what is working in our stores and how we can continue to evolve to become the best in the industry.??

Q: What is the biggest strength of J.Crew Factory and what makes the brand unique in such a competitive marketplace??

KI: Our people are our strength and what makes J.Crew Factory unique. We are at our best when many perspectives contribute, and we’ve worked diligently to ensure that associates at all levels have a voice. Our aim is to learn, grow, and make J.Crew Factory the best place to work and shop, and to do so, we act as a student in all we do and foster strong collaboration and communication at every level of the organization to enhance the business.?

Q: What are your favorite activities outside of work??

KI: When I’m not at a J.Crew Factory store or spending time with my family and friends, you can usually find me outside, listening to music while on the go.?I love all things outdoors, such as biking, hiking, walking or running. I also have a passion for traveling and learning about new cultures.??
