Get to know EJOT Sormat Oy's new Portfolio & Application Manager
EJOT Market Unit Construction
Fastening technology for expert applications at the construction site //www.ejot.com/construction
Agnieszka Andersson – a name which you will not forget. One of our latest acquisitions for EJOT Sormat OY. With 10+ years of experience as a Product Development Engineer in the construction and manufacturing industry in countries such as Poland, UK, and Sweden. We warmly welcome Agnieszka to be a part of our team for product development at our production site for anchoring technology in Turku, Finland. Before we dig into the juicy parts, we would like to know who is hiding behind this extraordinary profile.?
Agnieszka, what is your life situation and what got you there?
As you probably figured out based on my name, I am from Poland, but my last name is Swedish. The story behind this is that I met my Swedish husband when living in the UK. Eventually it was time to settle down in either Poland or Sweden, and we choose Sweden. I can assure you that the reason behind this was not because of the Midsummer tradition in Sweden. A few years ago, we arranged Midsummer in the archipelago of the east coast. Everything was set and the traditional maypole in place, the food was prepared and so on. But suddenly, the rain started to pour down and we had no other option than to stay inside for the whole day. However, I’ve heard that this has almost become a part of the tradition.
Time for the juicy parts. What can you contribute with?
With my background, experience, and expertise I can contribute with fresh ideas regarding the product portfolio. My main task, together with my team, will be to investigate the product range and available product developments and updates. I will focus on bringing the clients needs to us and create the solutions for their problems. Internally, I will be the bridge between sales, technical team and production and collect all relevant information from the different parties and plan accordingly.?
What is your superpower?
The first skill that pops into my mind is problem solving/innovativeness. I am very analytical and structured in my work as well as creative and open minded., In combination with communication skills, it usually brings desired results.?
If you could wish for one thing for the future in the industry, what would that be?
Though question since there are so many things, but I would hope for the construction industry to be smarter and more sustainable. We’ve seen this for many years, but it is still not enough. Gladly, EJOT continues to create more and more sophisticated solutions and it’s implementing its sustainability strategy in many aspects.
A personal goal for the future would be to be even more efficient and resolve issues in a shorter time with better ideas. Always strive to be the best version of myself and develop my skills.
We thank Agnieszka for her time and looking forward seeing her work bear fruit in the future.
