Get to Know a Chameleon
Chameleon Consulting Group LLC
Excellence is our standard and mission success is our metric.
In this month’s installment of CCG's "Get to Know a Chameleon", we invite you to meet our Contracts Manager, Drew Stiver, and how he is blending in while standing out.
How long have you worked at CCG?
I have been with CCG since April of 2022
What were you doing / what kind of company were you working for before coming to CCG??
I have been in the DoD/IC contracting world for the majority of my career. I have worked in armored vehicle production and support, C4ISR, R&D; and even spent some time working in a deployed environment overseas.?
What made you join CCG??
I was beyond impressed by the people I met during my interview process, I could tell from the very outset that I was talking to genuinely good people. It was clear that CCG was on the right path for success and fostered an extremely positive and supportive culture.
Was there a specific moment when you knew "this is an awesome company and I'm really glad I'm here?" Tell me about that moment.
I feel like this comes up a lot, but the onboarding process is unmatched in my experience. There is no "welcome, now get to work" that goes on here. Everyone has time to make sure you have what you need; and there is a real effort to ensure you get to know everyone you'll be working with.
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
At this stage I am most definitely a morning person. I have officially reached the stage in life where I get excited to go to bed at night; and I'm not embarrassed to say it!
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
That's a tough one because I love animals, but probably a Panda. They seem like they are having a good time. They have a sense of humor, they don't take themselves too seriously; and often do things for seemingly no other reason other than to amuse themselves. I definitely can vibe with that.

What would be the ultimate scientific discovery?
Livable exoplanets. The Moon and Mars are cool and everything, but I want to go further! I mean I don't want to physically go myself, but I want to see it happen.
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would it be?
Another tough one, but probably Leonardo Da Vinci. Painting aside, he is possibly the most curious human being to ever live. He chose topics that interested him and spent countless hours learning about them just for the sake of knowing more. I can certainly identify with, and relate to that.
Nothing can be loved or hated unless it is first understood.
-Leonardo da Vinci
How would you describe the culture of CCG?
Collaborative, approachable, and supportive. We are full of top performers all-around, but seamlessly operate as a team without any ego or rank ever being involved. We also devote real, actual time to having fun. CCG encourages its people to engage one-another, and connect with others in shared interests outside of work.
What is keeping you at CCG? What do you like about it?
I have never been in such a positive work environment before. Of course we're busy and there's always a lot going on, but we always put our people first and support one-another day in and day out. Even at our busiest times, we're always looking for ways to make things fun; and that's an extremely special touch.
Why should someone join us?
We have an exciting mission, and once someone gets an idea of the kind of people CCG has throughout our organization, it's quite obvious that this is a special place to work. It's also a modern workplace, and CCG deeply gets that.
