What can you stop doing?

What can you stop doing?

We did one of my favorite #heartcentered exercises in my?Outgrow the Grind women's circle?on Tuesday night.

It's called the?Stop Doing List.

Doesn't just the name of this exercise make you smile?

The purpose of the exercise is to identify what you can?stop doing?in order to create more?spaciousness?and?ease?in your life.

After I introduced the exercise, one of the women asked, "Isn't it better to look at what we want to START doing instead of stop doing?"

I was so glad she asked.

It?seems?like it, doesn't it?

But one thing I've noticed in my 5+ years of working with deeply caring high achievers (and ohhhh, perhaps a lifetime of being one myself) is this:

We don't need more practice saying?yes, we need more practice saying?NO.

We all have these places in life where our outward behaviors and inner beliefs block us from ease and grace.

Outward behaviors, like...

  • Saying yes to too many things.
  • Not moving your body.
  • Too much late night staring at screens.

Inner beliefs, like...

  • I'm not enough yet.
  • It's too late for me.
  • I'm horrible with money.

After each woman looked at five different areas of her life and identified what outward behaviors and inner beliefs to prune, each of them had their own?aha moment.

One woman realized that less Netflix time could make space for more neighborhood bike rides with her fun hubby.

Another woman had an epiphany about all of the email lists she's subscribed to. She shared in our group thread yesterday: "I just unsubscribed to 15 email lists! I know there are more emails to unsubscribe to, but I feel so much better already!"

And another woman talked about how her mornings were an energy drain instead of an energy boost. She reported back to us yesterday that she tried something else this morning and already feels "wonderful" about her new routine!

During Tuesday night's session, I kept going to the metaphor of a closet of clothes - maybe before you add something new [to your closet, calendar or To Do List], the choice to give something up (or away!) is what actually creates space for that something new.

If you too could use more spaciousness and ease in your life AND the kind, connective support of a small group of like-hearted women, check out my?Outgrow the Grind Circle.

The Outgrow the Grind Heart Centered Women's Circle will give you all of the tools you need to go from being last on your list to first.

In six months, you'll be able to:

  • Prioritize your precious needs
  • Be more and?do less
  • Set powerful boundaries?without feeling guilty
  • Share more of who you?really?are, with confidence
  • Tap into?permission, validation and guidance within you?instead of chasing it externally
  • Delegate?and?ask for help?at work and home
  • Be more kind?and?compassionate?with yourself
  • Tend to your big dreams?that scare and excite you

No need to wait till the program ends, you'll notice you have more?energy, better?boundaries, and more?self-trust?just a few weeks in!

And the best part? You’ll have access to loving support every step of the way.

You'll get four 1:1 coaching sessions, a private online community, a workbook and [might I say rockin'] playlist for each of the four growth phases (?? SEED, ?? SPROUT, ?? GROW, ?? BLOOM).

We'll also meet every other week as a small group (with up to 5 other women!) to do powerful exercises together, share challenges, wins, learnings, and answer your questions.

Think about it for a second - when was the last time you carved out time and space for YOU?

You deserve this!

And yes, it may mean letting go of something else.

On behalf of YOUR growth.
