If you want different, you have to do different. And, most of the time, doing different starts with focus. Most people feel temporary motivation about any given subject, losing weight, making more money, or having a better marriage to name a few but have a hard time bridging that motivation to execution and results. The missing piece to that puzzle is focus. Focus will remind you of your ‘why’ when the motivation wears off and you don’t feel like doing what you said you would. Focus will keep you from self sabotage when everything in you wants to turn your back on the goals you set for yourself.

Focus is what separates the dreamers and doers. Distractions will come in many different forms if you allow them to, everything from your phone, your family, your vices, even your own thoughts can distract you but the focus on the goal, “eyes on the prize,” is what will carry you through. Focusing alone isn’t enough though…you have to focus on what you’re doing and not doing, on YOUR wins and not what is happening around you or what other people are doing. Focusing on the wrong things will deter and ultimately stop you from where you want to be. Life, winning and a stronger mindset are all arenas you have to be an active participant in. They require you to be locked in and FOCUSED, every single day. You can be, your reality depends on it, your future depends on it. Produce a plan, work the plan, stay laser focused and execute. Rinse and repeat. That is how you will grow the habits and mindset you need to win and grow.

Day 20 of 30 days to a stronger mindset is all about this: Nothing great can happen if there is not great focus on being great. Be deliberate, be intentional and be focused.
