?? Get failing transformations back on track
Ad Esse Consulting
Inspiring continuous improvement in organisations with a social purpose, so everyone can experience great services.
You've probably heard the statistics about how many transformations 'fail'. We aren't here to debate the validity of these claims or to define what 'failing' actually is anyway (by the?by, did you know that 83% of statistics are made up anyway? ??).
What we do believe, is that most transformations do not run smoothly. If they were evaluated against their objectives and milestones, there would be, let's say, hiccups.
We've developed a free online transformation assessment; 24 questions that can assess your current state and provide guidance and resources to help get you back on track.
Questions to get your failing transformation back on track
If your transformation efforts are not going the way you hoped, the?questions below will help you?dig deeper.?
1.?Is your executive team aligned on your drivers for change?
They might not agree on the way forward but if they don’t agree on the drivers, you won’t even get off the starting blocks...
2. Do you have a clearly defined vision for change in place? A north star? A destination state?
You need to be able to articulate where you’re going. Consider what will be different when you succeed, what will look and feel different??And do you have measures that will tell you when you have succeeded?
3.?Have you conducted a thorough 'as-is' assessment of your?organisation?
If you don’t understand your starting position and problems properly, you could waste precious time and resources pursuing the wrong course of action.
4.?Are you actively involving your frontline employees in the process of identifying improvement opportunities?
Your employees are closest to your customers, if you want to make an impact, involve them.?Involving them also means they're more likely to adopt the changes identified.
5.?Are you consistent in your messaging??And do your messages and actions align?
