UAE government launches new “Work Bundle” platform

The processing time required to get Dubai Work & Residence Visas has been reduced from 30 days to 5 days with the UAE government’s new “Work Bundle” platform. This program initially started in Dubai and will slowly be expanded to other Emirates.

The “Work Bundle” platform also improves the customer experience by providing one platform to complete all the processes that involve eight services. 15 steps are reduced to 5 steps,?the number of documents has been reduced to five, and?the number of visits has been reduced to two. This complete process takes 5 days instead of 30 days.

Work Bundle platform simplifies the visa process.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, said, “Work Bundle platform will simplify and shorten the procedures for work and residency (permits) in the country.” He also said that this new platform will get back 62 million working days that were once dedicated to renewing residencies and work contracts within government frameworks.

Work Bundle combines all procedures for government entities, including the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Customs and Ports Security, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, and Dubai Health.
