"I'm extremely competitive, I have a quaint undergrad/masters and so I enjoy using numbers to make decisions, I love structured problem solving skills, I'm an introvert, I'm very goal-oriented, and I love doing research on problems". Everyone is blessed with these qualities, then what makes you different from others? Once you are in a job you think it's going to last forever. But in reality, it only lasts as long as you're working for it. If you stop working, it falls apart.
- What's the day to day like?
- What do you like most about your job?
- What do you like least about your job?
:- Do you frequently get the opportunity to think strategically and come up with novel solutions?
- Do you find the work exciting? Challenging?
- If you could do it all over again, would you still have picked the path you did?
Did you ever ask these questions to yourself?
You have never..Right?... Kudos!! you are unfit to work.
Remember these rules to have a balance
1. Trust nobody.
2. Enter office on time, leave on time. Your desktop is not helping improvement in your health.
3. Never make GF/BF and/or brother/sister in office. It will always backfire.
4. Expect nothing. If somebody helps, feel thankful. If not, you will learn to know things on your own.
5. Never rush for a position. If you get promoted, congrats. If not, it doesn't matter. You will always be remembered for your knowledge and politeness, not for your designation.
6. Avoid taking everything on your ego. Your salary matters. You are being paid. Use your assets to get happiness.
7. It doesn't matter how people treat you. Be humble. You are not everyone's cup of tea.
