Get Creative 2024 - Week 2

This week is all about play and exploration!

In most areas of our lives we are conditioned to look for productivity, results and particular standards. So instead of worrying about any of that, this week we’re going to use our creative time to play, experiment and make a mess!

In painting, one way to play and explore is to step away from the paintbrush and use alternative tools for applying paint.

Here are my suggestions - what ones have you used before and have you any suggestions?!

• Toothbrushes - if you water down the acrylic, these are great for making splatters!!
• Cardboard
• Sticks
• Netting from oranges or onions
• Palette knives
• Cotton wool
• Flowers / leaves
• Bubble wrap
• Discarded plastic
