We are holding an event on September 13th in Croke Park called 'Get Connected with Pervasive Nation'.

Pervasive Nation is a network that supports IoT applications that require low cost battery powered sensors, typically spread over wide areas, and that send small messages on a regular (or irregular) basis. In other words it is a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN). It is based on the LoRa standard.

We describe Pervasive Nation as a national scale infrastructure that allows all stakeholders in the IoT LPWA market and user base, to engage, learn, interact, innovate, speculate, explore, test at scale, make mistakes, evolve, find business models, and prepare at home for global markets.

We will give an overview of Pervasive Nation. You will be able to meet other providers and users in the LPWAN space. We also hope to do a live demo of how sensors connect to Pervasive Nation.
