Bread eKasi ( Bread in the Townships) is an essential item of food we consumer daily and as the saying goes, we work to put bread on the table for our family.

On the streets, bread also has a different meaning - it is a form of currency, money, the money you earn from working hard, and sweating your efforts.?

When someone says “I am low on bread I need to hustle harder, I need this bread man, ain’t nobody gonna stay in my way of getting my bread man” they mean they are low on cash, they are willing to work hard for their money and will not allow anyone to steal the opportunity to make their money.?

There are various nuances and ways of behaviour and speech we employ on our daily interaction with food and services, which subsequently becomes a part of township culture and behaviour.

We particularly loved working on this Albany Campaign, and the messages on various regional walls done in Ultra High Definition Realism. The messages on these walls are filled with positivity and encouragement to keep going, something we all need today.
