Germany Telekom starts marketing 430,000 FTTH connections in 66 municipalities
Telekom Deutschland, the fixed and mobile unit of Deutsche Telekom (DT), has started marketing its fibre-optic services to more than 430,000 homes and businesses in 66 municipalities across the country.
Customers in areas including Bad Salzschlirf, Borken (Hessen), Braunschweig, Dortmund, Essen, Frankfurt am Main, Hanover, Karlsruhe, Kehl, Kiel, Magdeburg, Offenbach, Rheinbach, Rottenburg, Stuttgart and Wurzburg will now be able to pre-order Telekom’s fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) service, which offers maximum speeds of 1Gbps.
