ATHENS, Ga. – The Riverview Foundation awarded The Classic Center Cultural Foundation a grant totaling $100,000 in support of the ELEVATE Campaign. This grant will enhance the experience of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame collection, which will be displayed in the concourse of The Classic Center Arena, slated to open in early 2024.
The Riverview Foundation grant will help amplify the Georgia Music Hall of Fame collection through new computerized software, hardware, and kiosks needed for expanding the displays into interactive, personalized experiences of Georgia’s music collection.
“It is such an honor to be chosen as a recipient for the Riverview Foundation grant,” said Beth Bryant, Director of the Cultural Foundation. “This will help us provide the necessary resources to make an impact and educate the local community and guests on Georgia’s rich music history.”

The Riverview Foundation’s grantmaking priorities include the performing arts through music. The displaying of the collection, along with other Georgia music memorabilia, is made possible by the partnership between The Classic Center and The University of Georgia Libraries, who currently holds the materials. The Georgia Music Hall of Fame collection that will be displayed in The Classic Center’s arena concourse will be available throughout the week for visitors to see once the arena opens in early 2024.
