On May 1st at a ceremony to honor the WW II Dead a Russian Bishop extolled the patriotism of those assembled and their ardor that is needed as their nation was in this Battle of Wills to save Moral Civilization

Our society is seen as this place of dysfunction, decay, depravity and mental illness that is daily exhibited in the events we all observe, our corrupt leadership on trial, poor enforcement of the Rule of Law and the lacks-lower standards of self-discipline that is just so abhorrent to these Buttoned Up places of Traditional Faith and Culture

While the Iranian may call us the Great Satan ….in other places we are believed to be a people that live in error , confused and manipulated by a self-serving plutocracy whose greed knows no bounds

So my friends ..its not all sunshine and roses our image abroad

..with many people clamoring to come here from these other places

As they believe that they hold the Moral High Ground and are the beacons of Right-Minded Truth that possess a glorious ancient history that relates the tale of their vast superiority to our decoupling decadent society

Their adherence to Tradition and strong conviction that this path provides not just an excellent quality to life but promises salvation in eternal ?life is a most powerful motivator

… our competitor have an abundance of this confidence and we have a deficiency that from my perspective grows more disconcerting with each passing year

The Children of these societies is where my research finds its greatest validation

Watching the thousands of youthful faces at the Paschal Children's Liturgy in Moscow as they with all diligence participated joyfully

I watch frame by frame at each face and these are not robotic savants but True Believers with strength and conviction

The young Chinese Athletes at the 2022 Winter Olympics had the same confidence sparkle in their eyes

Japanese second graders visiting a Shinto Shrine – the same glow

Adolescent young women dancing traditional Folklore in Baku

Five Grade boys in Shiraz proudly reciting Rumi in a play ?

Syrian School girls sing in Damascus proudly its city’s theme song

Indian Youth assembled at Hindu festival – same face – same bright eyes

I also watch the Saudi Officials glance at it other on a Blinken visit

..still worse Polish representative after our VP put her foot in her mouth

You Tube allows this level of level of introspective analysis that is up close and personal without the filters of the American Media to shape my perception

What troubles me the most

…is all of the order, structure, efficiency, self-discipline

..that is coupled with all the Pride, Joy, Honor and Wonder

… a most notable sense of Confidence of those on the up turn who see a brighter future along with the victory of their principles that will prevail over their deformed decrepit inferior adversaries

Let me be clear ..this is not the process of indoctrination but one of Old School Traditional values that from Grandparents to Parent and their Children form a generational relationship to the collective narrative of their culture which they view as both unique and special

These are the confident faces of the True Believer Societies that I DO NOT observe here on the home front

The faces I see each day looked worried ….are anxious—trend lightly with caution as one misstep can create irreparable harm.

While I’m not a pessimist by nature the path we are proceeding on is diametrically the opposite of our competitors
