Automated Calibration and Cleaning of Yield Dataset
GeoPard made it possible to clean and correct yield datasets using its platform. After calibration and cleaning the resulting yield dataset becoming homogeneous, without outliers or abrupt changes between neighboring geometries. Users can remove the corrupted/overlapped/subnormal data points and also correct the number of geometries based on some static value or based on some calibrated machine (harvester). GeoPard helps to start calibration in a few clicks, what simplify user experience.
Calibrating the "YieldDataset" is a functionality that corrects the distribution of values in alignment with mathematical principles, enhancing the overall integrity of the data. It bolsters the quality of decision-making and renders the dataset valuable for further in-depth analysis.
Common use cases for this functionality include:
Multi-layer analytics. Use case from Brasil?
Knowing productive areas is fundamental for efficient management. Multi-layer analytics also known as integrated analysis is becoming a part of the GeoPard geospatial analytics engine.
Classic combinations of integrated analysis parameters include one or more yield data, NDVI map, elevation, and soil sensor physicochemical characteristics. GeoPard supports these parameters and in addition, allows the inclusion of other field data layers either already available in the system or uploaded directly by the user (soil sampling, yield datasets, etc.).
Prof. Lucas Rios do Amaral presented a 3D visualization of a sugarcane production area (partnership with Agro-4S), showing an image that compiles 8 years of satellite images (vegetative peak image) and a map of apparent electrical conductivity of the soil (CEa) measured with the TSM sensor (Cropman). Below, a visualization of the relief of the region. You are very welcome to share your integrated analytics use cases, and build management zones maps based on your knowledge of the field while selecting data sources and their weights in GeoPard.
The Bavarian State Research Center for Agriculture Leverages GeoPard Platform for Its Future Crop Farming Project
We are happy to announce that GeoPard provides Bavarian State Research Center for Agriculture (LfL) with a centralized platform to visualize and analyze critical farming data. LfL has implemented a strip intercropping system, i.e., the simultaneous cultivation of multiple crops in parallel strips in the same field. These strips can subsequently be employed separately in equations for inputs (such as fertilizer and plant protection) and yield results, enabling the computation of overall field profit. Moreover, the profits generated by individual crops and the possible impacts at the edges between strips can be assessed.
The collaboration between LfL and GeoPard through the Future Crop Farming project can move forward analysis tools for unconventional field structures.
Release Notes Mobile?
We are thrilled to present our Mobile App Release 1.0. It brings a host of improvements such as the possibility to upgrade packages, fixation of the splash screen, status bar color, and issues with the creation of a new pin and camera.
