FOR BUSINESS
If you’re making deliveries, how would you like to have the super customer friendly service of, your customer, receiving an alert (by either SMS or email) that they can expect delivery within 10 minutes! By setting up the Geofencing, this is all automated – great for regular deliveries or for one-offs.
If you have vehicles that visit construction sites, you can setup to monitor a particular zone so that drivers are not exceeding construction site speeds. If this occurs, you will receive an alert and can speak to your driver once they’ve returned.
Also, construction equipment can all be tagged so that should they leave the work site, your virtual perimeter will be triggered and you’ll be notified immediately. This is a great way to protect your equipment from theft!

FOR PERSONAL USE
Again there are numerous ways to use even for personal use!
For expensive items that get left out on the street, having a virtual perimeter will advise you if your belongings have been shifted. For example, if you have an expensive bicycle, as soon as it’s moved outside of 10 meters, you’ll be notified with an SMS (and the item will continue to be tracked, live!). This is great for:
- Bicycles
- Motorbikes
- Scooters
- Caravans
- Trailors
- Farm machinery
- & much more
But there’s not just personal items that can be tracked!
You can also setup fences for your loved ones. Cases that are often useful are for elderly relatives that may suffer from a form of dementia or who may get confused at times, younger children and young drivers.
Being able to create the Geofence as big or as small as you require allows you for great flexibility. For example, with younger children that might be riding around town, you can setup a perimeter of the streets that they’re permitted to go and only be alerted if the zone is breached.
There’s a lot of ways that Geofencing can help you and I hope I’ve been able to give you a good idea of how it can make your life easier.
