Every now and then, I'll head into a shower at the gym and find someone's shower gel or shampoo.
My first thought is, "Well, that's lazy, if you're finished, throw it away!"
But a lot of the time there's something in it.
Obviously this isn't a regular occurrence, just sometimes...
How could they forget it? Or did they just not care, and decide they were done with it?!
It genuinely perplexed me.
Until, that is, the other day.
I'd been in the gym, had a shower, got dressed and collected all my things as usual.
Two days later I'm back in the gym... and I go to shower.
And I can't find my shower gel.
Then I remember.
I put it on the "built in" soap dispenser, but I didn't remember picking it up.
It was half full... and I'd left it in the shower, on the dispenser.
Idiot.
I was one of those people I'd scoffed at.
I don't have a great memory, so it's why I make sure to use systems as much as possible at work.
I use Trello, Slack and 12 Week Planners among other things... although up to last week I'd stopped using Trello.
We'd moved to a different system, which is better.... it has a million and one features, and is more functional in almost every way.
But where it was so complex, often we'd decided to just not bother using it because it was quicker and easier to use paper lists.
And eventually we stopped using it altogether.
Anyway, I'd forgotten just how good Trello is... and we're back to using it in full force.
Sometimes, it just best to keep things simple.
Same goes for your landing pages.
There's no point in having super elaborate landing pages, you want to keep it simple.
