By acknowledging the pain, listening without judgment, and offering words of comfort, you can help someone feel seen and supported. Even when words can't take away the loss — or when you struggle to find them — showing up with compassion is powerful. ?? Here are a few ways you can do just that.
“Would you like to share your story with me? I am happy to listen.”
