Gentle giant by Cornell Bunting

This occasion finds tears shedding,

But we advise those tears to dry, find celebrating.

What if we take a moment to call on peace?

Open our eyes to see him at a happy place

His body found comfort, no pain and suffering

We all are filled with a full heart, spirit-filled.

Let’s not look back at what was, memories already lived

Yesterday look to the new day, today left yesterday.

You can remember the Leo in him, the gentle giant

We cherish his memory to live on, humble and kind.

It’s okay to cry, but cry with joy of fulfillment

I’m sure his spirit is watching with gratitude.

So, in this occasion of tears shedding, listen to the whisper

Put that smile on your face, eyes open, look to

the one around you, gentle giant would say,

“It is well, live in love, joy will find”.
