A genocide by Israel is underway in Rafah's so-called 'safe zones'

The photo above is one of the “safe zones” designated by Israel where civilians were urged to evacuate to. "It has just been bombed" witnessed Palestinian web reporter M. Safaa, "Palestinian refugees sheltering in tents were bombed".

For Mr. Safaa, it was not a real evacuation before the bombing, shelling and gunfire start, but a "massacre in Rafah" that he witnessed, with civilians having nowhere to go and praying for their life, while encountering remains of mass killings at each street corner. He explains: "they completely obliterated entire families and butchered children in unprecedented numbers".

Social media are now being filled with calls and testimonies of Palestinian families crying for help while the bombing and gunfire sounds louder than ever behind them. While the death toll keeps climbing fast in Rafah, one thing remains absolutely certain for all those caught up in the frenzy of a genocidal war. All those lucky enough to survive this will remember for ever the view, sound and smell of massacred families in Rafah. And humanity will never forget it either. It cannot afford to forget it anymore. The bully has become too dangerous for the international community.
