Prophecy of Genii

Often, we see Lord Mahalakshmi (fortune Goddess) worshipping Lord Sri Narayana for his generosity, as he is the giver of light, creator, sustainer, and destroyer of the universe. Kubera, the protector of wealth, is considered her son. In the process of building Nation or family wealth process, Kubera is frequently worshipped in many aspects, and he is known as Yaksha-Kubera. The term "Yaksha" first appears in the Jaiminiya Brahmana, an ancient text dating back several thousand years, and it means "wondrous being" or "genii"

In epics, men of the Sattvik (pure) class worship Devas (gods), angels, and gurus, while those of the Rajasik (passionate) class worship Yakshas and Rakshasas, and those of the Tamasik (ignorant) class worship demons and witches. Kubera’s followers, the Yakshas, possess the ability to assume any shape, with females often appearing as very beautiful women. They are primarily water-bodied spirits and are often depicted as garland bearers in support of buildings and superstructures, as mentioned in ancient texts like the Atlantes.?

Chanting the Kubera hymn is believed to bless the worshipper with money and prosperity by opening new avenues and sources of income. The hymn helps increase the flow of funds and the ability to accumulate wealth. It is said that one who worships Lord Kubera and Goddess Lakshmi will never fall short of money and material comforts. The most auspicious dates to worship Lord Kubera are between October 15th and November 15th each year, with Tuesdays and Fridays being particularly auspicious for drawing the Kuber matrix and worshipping Yaksha-Kubera.?

Method:?

Preparation: On Fridays or Tuesdays, clean a wooden plate and draw the Kubera matrix with rice flour. Place the matrix in front of the Kubera idol or picture.?

Kubera Matrix: Draw the following numbers in a matrix form within a square:

Ritual:?

Place nine coins on the respective numbers with the coin value facing up.

Put a red flower on each coin and two flowers on the Kubera idol or picture.

Light a small lamp and fragrant incense.

Chant the Kubera Mantra 11 times: "Om yakshaya kuberaya Vaiswaranaaya dhanadhanyathi pathaye dhanadhanya samruththimme dehi dabaya swaha."

Chant the Lakshmi Kubera Mantra: "Om Hreem Shreem Kreem Shreem Kuberaya Ashta-Lakshmi Mama Grihe Dhanam Puraya Puraya Namah?"

Meaning: "I submit myself to the Superior yaksha Kuber, the partner of Goddess Lakshmi, to bestow upon us all the wealth and happiness , protect us"

Benefit: This mantra develops devotion to Lord Kubera, and worshipping him together with Goddess Lakshmi brings the best blessings and diminishes money-related worries, ensuring a uniform flow of cash.

Kubera symbolizes not just material wealth but also spiritual wealth and inner richness. His association with the North symbolizes stability and immovability, akin to the constant presence of the North Star.
