This study explored the genetic basis of lupus nephritis (LN) in a longitudinal cohort of subphenotyped SLE patients. LN showed higher polygenic risk scores and unique genetic loci, including HLA, TNFAIP3, BLK, and STAT4, compared to non-LN (NLN). Heterogeneity tests revealed additional loci (ELF1, OX40, DUSP22, TPCN2). Findings highlight subphenotype-specific genetic predispositions in SLE.
