The Genesis

Before I started coaching and training and speaking to women on how to care for themselves,?

I had struggled,?

you see losing weight is easier

So easy that it is boring

Building a healthy lifestyle was so easy that it was boring

But I wanted it complicated, I needed it to be complicated,?

It could not just be about? making good meals, moving better and more than I feel good

I wanted to do the hard things

I wanted to try 50 burpees

30 jump squats

I wanted to feel like I was working hard

And I did

Till I got? burnt out

And i reluctantly went back to doing the boring? things

Repeating the same exercises

Eating almost the same meals

Going to bed on time

Breathing

Slowing down

Taking walks

And not my weight never fluctuated again

I used to gain a ton of weight?

And then I would have to start my fitness journey all over again

Or I? thought I did


I didnt understand that fitness being a lifestyle was just that, a lifestyle, nothing fancy


This is how I live my life? now

I do the boring things

I make the boring have fun on my behalf

Eat my cucumbers, talking a walk while listening to my favorite music

Move my body so that it feels so good to challenge myself

So good I could cry

I have become this person that knows how to care for herself

Like I said yesterday there are many markers of health

And something we go on the defense and fight food, fat, and exercise

But other domains of health and wellness are often overlooked, you might lose weight or get strong and still not feel good about your body, but until you look at your health on a grand scale, your fitness journey could be doing more harm than good


There is a multifaceted approach to flourishing health and not just body size which we will discuss in a letter topics


But now looking at your satisfaction with your body and your fitness these factors contribute to making you strong, healthy, and happy in your body, and not just weight loss and weight gain

Your behavior

Your injury history

Your breath quality

Your body composition

Your sleep quality

Your nutritional awareness

The quality of your movement

These are factors that contribute to your overall fitness and wellness


This is why? I created the move eat love method


I know you have been sold the idea that weight loss cures all ills

But think about how long you have been chasing weight loss, or trying to force yourself to exercise

Think about how much resistance you feel to exercising

Think about how much confusion there is about eating?

Think out your body composition and how it could affect the quality of your life

And we are still focused on weight loss?

I would encourage you to stay around for a while and I will break down these factors and how they overall make your life and body better and stronger as you age
