Generosity Xchange is here!

Generosity Xchange is here!

It is a joyous day.

In just a few hours, we will kick off the fifth annual Generosity Xchange. This virtual conference has grown over time to be what I consider one of the best online learning experiences that nonprofits can invest their time and energy into.

I'm going to break down a few resources that you may have missed in the lead-up, but if you haven't registered yet, there's still time, and that guarantees the recordings and resources. There is no cost to the event!

Event Overview

I am going to head over to meet up with Ben Williams of the Connect Center, where we'll be setting up for some live streaming for the day. If you want to get a feel for both the event and the chemistry that we will be bringing to the Main Stage over the next two days, check out the latest episode of Generosity Experience Live, with this spotlight on our overview of the event.

Fun and Games

I have wanted a Neon One Bunch Character Builder for years. Look, I know it's just Business To Business (B2B) and that means that people aren't going to fall passionately in love with our brand like its a Stanley cup.

However, I've long contended that if we're going to spend the majority of our time in the world "working" then we might as well make it as enjoyable as possible. That means having fun within the space your brand can operate.

Last year in particular, we put out some goofy "badge icons" with some of our characters that said things like "Needs Coffee To Work" or stuff like that. People would download them and upload them into the event platform. So I thought that Generosity Xchange was a good use case to test out the character builder.

I'm going to save this as a special thing for attendees to do for at least launch, but here's a preview of what the builder can make happen. And we've programmed a special configuration of each tab so that when you choose a certain combination, it unlocks the special Nic Cage character.

We also have several special giveaways and games planned, including an interactive trivia game that has Julie Cooper , Julia Campbell , Sheleia Phillips, MPH, CHES , April Walker, MSW (Philanthropy for the People) , Rachel Muir, CFRE , Michael J. Buckley, CFRE , Lisa Z G. , Rhea Wong , Dana Snyder , and Katrina VanHuss posing informative questions to the audience to guess.

Then there's also The Big Giveaway, which will reward folks who have engaged throughout the event with some awesome gifts - books by John Lepp , Mallory Erickson , a month of design services from Creative Shizzle, a sober happy hour from Athletic Brewing Company, and the biggest one of them all - a trip and hotel stay in beautiful Chicago for a special Generosity Experience Live invite-only event that will kick off with a special workshop by Abby Jarvis and Cherian Koshy .

New Research

We're thrilled to build on the ecstatic response to our trusted deep dive into recurring giving by releasing a special report that focuses on GivingTuesday and End Of Year. I'm excited to unpack these immediately actionable insights as well as drill into the why and how it was made, but one extra cool bonus is a deeper look into the fantastic GivingTuesday GivingPulse data specific to recurring giving.

Learn more at Abby's GX24 session!

See you there?

I can't wait for the next two days and our team has been hard at work getting everything set up for you. Let me know in the comments what you're most excited about for this year's Generosity Xchange.
