Generosity is the Key to Success, according to Frank Sinatra

Frank Sinatra was one of the most generous and successful entertainers in history. According to the book Sinatra and Me: In The Wee Small Hours by Tony Oppedisano, Sinatra's colleague, friend, and confidant, the superstar singer viewed generosity and success as infinitely intertwined.

Oppedisano said Sinatra told him countless times, "If you can't use money to make your life and the lives of people you care about better, whether they be friends, family, or friends you haven't met, then you're wasting your life. You come into this world with nothing. You leave with nothing. I've never seen a Brink's truck at a cemetery. You spend money doing the right thing, and you'll make more."
