Generosity Experience Live - Season Finale Tomorrow!

Generosity Experience Live - Season Finale Tomorrow!

I'm going to eschew my normal newsletter and get straight to the point. If you're experiencing 2024 in a similar way to me, you're potentially feeling like your cup isn't quite full, that some things didn't exactly go the way you wanted them to, or that you've been feeling the imposter syndrome pretty hard lately.

That's why I'm excited to be getting back to the roots of why I am still with Neon One after thirteen years - making technology that is really really good at making good happen.

I'm currently sitting in the Theater Wit, located in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. We are planning a unique experience that will start with a lunch and learn workshop guided by our very own Abby Jarvis and Cherian Koshy of our partners over at Kindsight.?

Pssst, I've got some spots left if you're a Chicago nonprofit who wants to sneak in a last-minute RSVP.

The Big Foot Media team is the best - and they're playing Yacht Rock during setup

Then we're going to transition into the season finale of Generosity Experience Live, a new concept that envisioned that we piloted this year and have an exciting evolution planned for 2025.

Please join us, here's where you can RSVP:

What should you focus on for 2025?

Much of what I think about next year is grounded in returning to the basics. Neon One has its core roots in Chicago, and it was founded by a technologist and a nonprofit professional in 2006 as one of the sector's first cloud-based platforms purpose-built for nonprofits. It was always designed to envision the world holistically and not simply through the lens of a tax-deductible donation that needs to be managed.

It is becoming increasingly apparent how important it is to see people as who they are, not what we hope them to be. The data that you have in all the different places that you manage helps paint a holistic picture of a person - if it's clean or clear enough to do so. Unfortunately, many of you struggle to connect those dots because you're juggling three to five different data sources to understand what one person is doing, let alone a whole community of people.?

That's the core problem that I'm excited to drill into tomorrow with our guests, both digitally and in-person. We're going to focus on what truly matters going into 2025 and hope to see you there in any way you can join us.

What do you hope your technology can assist with in 2025?

Tim - you are one of the real ones. Tell that inner saboteur to take a hike ?? I adore you and your work! In fact, I’m introducing my dear friend Terri Miller, ED at NP2 - Pharma Reimagined to you with this mention! I’ll be working closely with Terri & her small/mighty team in 2025, so let’s all get to know each other and be in touch. Big hugs. You’re up to even more great stuff since we last collaborated ????????
