Generative Summer Camp: Battle Luma vs. Morph
I can't get this song out of my mind now. Iridescent Light. It's good that I wrote it down and prompted. It made a great bed to start experimenting with new generative media tools.
The song on this vid started as a lyric written a few months ago when the morning light would pour through like the shine of labradorite. I painted it, then prompted it, then tested a few song melodies with Suno. Finally I came out with a song version I liked this week, https://suno.ai/@Realitycraft has more of those tracks including this one, Iridescent Light.
So I decided to use this song as a jumping off point for a video test trying out two new video tools for #generativevideo, Luma Labs new Dream Factory and the Morph Studio tools.
Both have great reasons to use them. Morph delivers strong reels and vertical format video clips with motion and even lip sync. Dream Factory, out this week, has been touted as a Sora killer for its realism and beauty, as you'll see in this video test.
Rainbows in the Room - do you feel me too? I find this whole video absolutely hypnotic.
Watch until the end for the head to head battle where you can compare footage directly between these two programs.
