Generative leadership - Leaving the world better than we have seen it

There has been a growing sense of leading with a greater purpose. amongst leaders of countries and organizations. Majority of leaders of next generation want to leave the world better than they have found it and contribute not only to the sustainability of the environment but also regenerate what has been damaged over decades. This type of leadership is becoming known as Generative Leadership.

What is Generative Leadership

Generative leadership is a new approach to leadership that focuses on building the capacity of the organization to rapidly adapt, live its purpose, and grow. Generative leaders are characterized by their ability to lead with purpose, inspire and empower people, and execute and innovate through supercharged teams.

According to research by Boston Consulting Group, generative leaders are more likely to create high-performing organizations that are better able to withstand challenges and seize opportunities.

If you are looking to become a more generative leader, there are a few things you can do. First, develop a clear and compelling purpose for your organization. Beautiful article, today we need generative leaders in our country as well although there are leaders whom don't want to grow her/his subordinators potential and creatively, especially in our Maldivian Society.
