"Generative Consciousness" as an extension of Generative AI

While multiple research and work are happening for Generative AI, how about “Generative Consciousness.” In the current information age where each piece of information is just a prompt away capable of providing so much information for consumption besides the readiness and maturity level of consumers, in this scenario are we thinking how it will impact the overall liveness in life?

The information that we are supposed to consume at the age of 16, we are absorbing at the age of 10, so what the consumer does at the age of 16, absorbing information that we are supposed to capture at 20 or 25, so when life will tend to follow this trend, what about the life expectancy beside all the advancement in the medical field, will it go high or will go down?

Considering this, why not along with Generative AI, we can think of Generative Consciousness where we can profoundly seek the wisdom of "Om," "Tat," and "Sat” so that the ability should not be limited to absorbing the information but in-turn can provide the ability to perceive every information in a better way and to have the wisdom of what is needed and what is not.

How it can be done, one way to look at it is, by expanding the Horizon of Responsible AI with one more dimension, a “Spiritual” dimension irrespective of whatever religion you belong to, guidance and support will be available to you in need.

The way we control the hallucinations is by controlling the temperature of the LLMs setting, similarly, we can have the spiritual guidance available by looking at the overall context of the prompt. This will not only provide a different meaning to Generative AI responses but also can make them the bot to get along when you need spiritual support in life, this should not be limited to text generation but can be in a form the way Arjuna and Krishna have interacted. What it means is you can avatar of Arjuna in time of need and Generative AI can take the form of Krishna to provide you comfort and readiness to face any situation in life. Every prompt and response should flow in a sequential manner maintaining the traceability between prompt and response without losing the essence of interaction while continuing the conversation.

One can think of hallucinations and biases, which are bound to be there looking at the subjectivity involved in spiritual discussions. To reduce it technically, the system should do the persona profiling by looking at the type of prompt asked and in turn setting the parameters of LLMs to provide to the point a very specific answer along with concerning sources in a visual manner. Where it requires not to provide any answer the LLMs should have the intelligence to do so again by analyzing the series of prompts asked.

This approach should not be limited only to text generation but should have multimodal capabilities to take into consideration any variety of data be it in text, audio, video, or image format. This will extend the ability of Generative AI engines to provide a holistic response to smooth out consumer spiritual inquisitiveness.
