In part 2 of general shifts in work values, we speak to Audrey Wan and Amir Zubir. (They are so Gen Z that I don't think they have LinkedIn)
They defend Generation Z against unfair media portrayals about them being "woke", being called soft and not working hard enough.

2 年omo, i recently attended a zoom seesion on Gen Z and Youths curated by Kind NUS & SG Exams - and my key takeaways was that Gen Z believes in the upward / downward comparison shifts when it comes to media portryal, also interesting fact that Gen Z tend to compare themselves with the celebrities on the internet so it makes them pressured to be like them. Edit - Probably no linkedin because Gen Z tend fo face different forms of stresses as compared to different generations as they cannot juggle different communication platforms as they need to check on emails, and different social media platforms.

2 年Well stated by Audrey and Amir. There is stereotyping and generalization when it comes to media portrayals.
