General Manager - blueMAC

Role Overview:
Following our continued growth and success, we now wish to appoint a General Manager for our expanding business.? Reporting to the Group COO, this is a key management role within our organisation, and will take overall responsibility for ensuring the continued success and growth of our blueMAC business.
Location:
The role will be based primarily out of blueMAC’s Headquarters in Dungannon, however will require significant flexibility given the geographic expanse of our existing sales territory. The role will liaise closely with the JANS Group locations in the Moy, Antrim, and Ballymena, and will encompass business responsibility for all global blueMAC sales.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·?To drive and enhance profitable growth of our blueMAC business year on year.
·?Line management responsibility for the blueMAC Sales team alongside our design, procurement, projects and finance teams, involving performance reviews, continuous development plans and recruitment of future staff as the business grows.
· Forging and maintaining positive relationships with customers and suppliers and proactively searching for new sales targets, including attendance at overseas trade shows and client visits.
· Commercial negotiation of terms with new and existing suppliers and customers.
· Key involvement in setting and managing commercial pricing strategies for our blueMAC product range and active tenders, taking into account market intelligence on competitor activity.
· Provide leadership for the research and development of new product ranges for the mobile and plant waste recycling systems.
· Ensure that blueMAC effectively coordinates market research, benchmarking and establishing Product Design specifications for new product ranges.
· Key involvement in the blueMAC business planning process and financial forecasting, and reporting regularly on performance against set business KPI’s.
· To identify and perform risk analyses on potential growth options for blueMAC trading opportunities.
· Liaise with our marketing team in the co-ordination of promotional campaigns, materials and events, representing the company as required.
· Manage customer complaints in line with company procedures.
· Respond to customer queries in a timely manner and keep in regular contact with customers to obtain feedback on products.
· Ad hoc duties as required and commensurate with the position.

Qualifications, Experience & Attitude:
· Demonstrable previous relevant sales and business development experience with proven growth, preferably in relation to material processing systems and recycling facilities, or within a main franchised dealer network.
