Founded with a mission to empower startups across various sectors, Sote Hub's recent endeavours reflect a concerted effort to embrace and promote sustainability within the blue economy. Previously known for its initiatives supporting local entrepreneurs in green and emerging sectors, SoteHub has demonstrated remarkable adaptability by venturing into the blue economy landscape.
They have already offered entrepreneurs and stakeholders multiple different blue economy opportunities. During the GenBlue program, Sote Hub organised a Blue Economy Innovation and Investment Summit. This was a week-long series of events to expand knowledge and opportunities in the blue economy, promoting growth, job creation, and investment in new industries and technologies for sustainable development.
But their blue programmes have not stopped there.
Today, despite GenBlue's ending, Sote Hub has launched a call for applications for startups operating in the green and blue economy sectors funded by The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).
