EYE Research applications are open!?
18by Vote’s Exploring Youth Engagement (EYE) Research Fellowship will provide a cohort of young people ages 17-24 from across the United States with the opportunity to conduct research on youth civic engagement. For 10 weeks, fellows will develop a collaborative mixed methods research project that seeks to identify trends in youth perceptions of social issues and civic spaces, with the ultimate goal of identifying the ways in which members of Gen Z want to engage civically. Along with a stipend, Participants will receive research training and education from 18by Vote and partners.

About Girl Up:Founded by the United Nations Foundation, Girl Up is a leadership development initiative welcoming girls & youth of all gender identities to advance gender justice worldwide!
Teen Advisor Eligibility Criteria:
-Must be between the ages of 13-18
-Must currently be enrolled in high school/secondary school, and still attending high school/secondary school until at least May 2024
-Must identify as a girl, woman, or gender nonconforming youth
Teen Advisor Requirement:?
-The 2023-2024 Teen Advisor Board will serve a one-year term from June 1, 2023 – May 31, 2024. Teen Advisor must commit at least 10 hours per month to their role.

The Learning & Impact Manager position will be through the American Council of Learned Societies. These Leading Edge Fellowships place recent humanities PhDs with nonprofit organizations committed to promoting social justice in their communities.
-Stipend: $66,000 in year one, and $70,000 in year two, plus health insurance and professional development funding
-Tenure: 24 months beginning in September 2023

Riley’s Way Call for Kindness is Open!
About Call for Kindness: The Call For Kindness offers young changemakers the chance to participate in a dynamic Leadership Development Fellowship and win up to $3,000 in funding for a project of their own that inspires kindness and strengthens their local, national, or global communities. Youth leaders between the ages of 13-22 can apply and we will award at least 36 youth-led projects up to $3,000 each. The winners will join an inspiring community of Kindness Fellows from across the country to work together in a fellowship program that will expand their leadership and life skills, build strong networks and friendships, and support the development of their project.?

Join DoSomething x The Shed in NYC on Friday, March 3rd at 4:30 pm-7:00 pm EST.
About this event: DoSomething will host the Art of Democracy, a free series of civic conversations targeting diverse New Yorkers aged 18-25. Through discussion and hands-on creative storytelling activities, young people will have an opportunity to reflect on their experience voting in past elections, deepen their knowledge about the electoral system, and learn how they can extend their civic participation between election cycles and beyond voting. Young people will walk away more knowledgeable about civics, what resources are available to them in NYC and how they can be a force for change in and outside of the voting booth. BONUS: The first 75 people to sign up will receive a ticket to the spoken word performance at the Shed called MISTY!
