GEN AI - How to start

We have all heard the buzz around gen Ai over last few months.

What is genAI?

An intelligent computer that can generate texts, images, ideas, presentations, contextual responses

How they do it..?

They use data and knowledge available from internet and input training data..A simple example.. if an employee asks what is paternity leave available for me..traditionally you will go to your HR person and ask. Now with gen Ai, you can have a bot that can be trained on your organisation policies. Let the computer read through all policies, give some training data and let it learn the proper response. You can give this bot a catchy name.. “Shasha” for instance. Once that’s done.. you can automate this process. For policy queries now you can go to “Shasha”

Recently one of relatives was working on her computer to design a presentation and she spent a lot of mins searching the internet for the right icons for her ppt. I asked her if she had latest version of power point which comes with inbuilt designer based on Ai capabilities. She clicked on designer and voila .. exact icons that she needed were available in one click!

have you given feedback or received feedback that the onboarding is boring series of presentations after presentations which are difficult to follow. How about using a HR avatar.. a person conjured by Ai who comes from time to time to talk to you about compliance, shares info and introduces the necessary information. You can use tools like Synthesia to create those AI videos. Share some text and tool reads out your transcript in the form of a video

Increase efficiency with tools like ChatGPT. You use them to input some prompts like “study publicly available policies and law of the land for prevention of harassment at workplace and create an emailer / policy to inform all the employees

OR

Create an outline of training on topic manager as a coach etc etc. You can give more context and assumptions to generate better responses.

OR

“Give me multiple options on what to name our reward program” this program does blah blah blah and has 1.2.3 objectives

OR

“Write an email that is firm but polite reminding on deadline and consequences of not sending data on time”

OR

“Write bias free job description for a position of branch sales manager.. duties will include so and so.. “

You can also use the outline generated from chatgpt to feed into apps like Gamma.app and it generates a presentation deck for you with images and what not.

Struggling with excel formulas, try using formula.dog. Give prompts like find out who passed in exams based on aggregate score of more than 50 and individual scores not less than 25..
