Gemini AI Image Generator Now in Google Docs

Google Docs just got a whole lot fancier! Thanks to its new Gemini-powered AI image generator, you can now jazz up your documents with visuals. Whether you’re sprucing up a report or adding flair to a school project, this tool makes creating eye-catching images a breeze.

Here’s the scoop: Head to Insert > Image > Help me create an image. A nifty panel pops up where you can type your idea—anything from “funky giraffe in sunglasses” to “soothing beach sunset.” Feeling artsy? Add a style for a personal touch. Hit Create, and voilà! A lineup of AI-crafted images appears. Pick your favorite, and drop it into your doc.

You can even tweak the image’s size—square, vertical, or horizontal—to suit your layout. Plus, full-cover images are perfect for pageless documents. Once inserted, click the image to adjust, reposition, or even find alt text.

Currently, this feature is reserved for paid Workspace accounts and Google One AI Premium users on desktops.?

Don’t worry if the AI doesn’t get it right every time—Google’s Imagen 3 tech is learning and improving. Feedback is welcome, and who knows? Your suggestion might teach Gemini to draw that perfect pizza slice!
