Ghee is considered a "Rasayana", a preparation for prevention, strength and rejuvenation. So today I'll present you a cheat sheet on Ghee, including how and when to take it.
Ghee is clarified butter or essentially, butter with the milk solids, sugar and water removed from it. Ghee is called the elixir of life. It has a cell-regeneating effect. In Japan, a study found that Ghee can neutralise the free radicals, 500 times more effectively than Vitamins A, C, and E.
Ghee also forms Ojas, the subtlest end product of digestion, in the body's cells. Thereby ensuring a healthy metabolism and a strong immune system.
Anupanam : Ghee is an idea transport for the healing ingredients and hence, you will see a lot of medicines in Ayurveda combining Ghee with different herbs, called Ghritas.

2 年Your article breaks many mental barriers of people who are afraid of taking ghee and treat it as an oily substance which is a strict no-no for them in their diet......... I remember during my younger days while we stayed in a small town with my parents, we had three cows at home and had plenty of Ghee and milk all the time. My grandfather used to tell many of the points you have listed as features in your article. Thank you Puneet Aggarwal ?? for taking me back to those era with this wonderful article of yours with in-depth research and study. I used to love the taste of Ghee and its smell too...... and I am appalled to see children of today's time and even my own children showing utter dislike for it.... Hope this article helps the new generation in making them aware. Thank you for writing this article.
