GE to supply four 300 MW Hydro storage units at Anhui Jinzhai, China

I am proud to announce that GE Hydro has been selected by Anhui Jinzhai Pumped Storage Power Co., LTD, one of the division of State Grid State Grid XinYuan. GE will supply four new 300 MW pumped turbines and generator-motors as well as the balance of plant equipment for the Anhui Jinzhai hydropower pumped-storage station located in Jinzhai County, Anhui Province, China.

This new equipment provided by GE will offer a high level of flexibility and reliability on the Anhui power grid which has been facing regular variations due to its environment.

This new contract highlights GE’s proven expertise and global leadership in PSP and in China particularly where our solutions equip 25%+ of the PSP installed base. We look forward to this new cooperation with State Grid XinYuan.
