According to a recent survey around 77% of surveyed companies are familiar with the EU General Data Protection (GDPR), only 5% believe they are compliant with the requirements.

What you need to know is that from May 25th, 2018 your company regardless the size will face a long list of rules that you must follow in order to comply with GDPR.

Failure to comply can result in fines of up to €20m or 4% of an organization’s global annual turnover (whichever is higher), and untold reputational damage.
