6 年It would be really nice if someone out there created FREE GDPR packs / templates / Plain English advice for people, with small free websites, who have no budget for buying packs that cost more than their annual turnover. Kids local football teams, young mums groups, school & uni alumni groups, music blogs, drama groups, small charities ........... all who have no or a tiny budget and no-one helping them to become GDPR compliant. I applaud the legislation, as I greatly value my privacy, but it seems onerous for the "wee people" - sledgehammer and nut springs to mind. GDPR has been a great income generator for many but I feel deeply sorry for those who do not have an IT dept or a legal team to help them. I have spoken to people who believe that they have to shut down their little wesbite because they cannot understand GDPR and what they need to do - sad but true. The losers are the very people that the websites were set up to help.
