GC-2050 Shutdown Process: Effortless Cost Reduction
To maximize the lifespan of the capillary column and other components of a gas chromatograph, it is advisable to cool down the system before halting the carrier gas flow. The GC-2050 gas chromatograph simplifies this process through a customizable shutdown method.
Implementing this procedure is straightforward. Simply configure the delay time required for the GC to cool down before stopping the carrier gas supply. Initiating the shutdown process is as easy as pressing the GC power button. The system will then automatically execute the shutdown sequence, ultimately placing the GC into sleep mode, which consumes minimal electrical power. During this state, only the main board remains active, ready to receive a restart command.
Restarting the GC-2050 is equally convenient. You can reactivate the system by pressing the GC power button or remotely via a command from the connected chromatography data software (CDS). Similar to the shutdown method, a restart method can also be configured on the GC-2050.
By following these steps, you ensure not only the efficient operation of your gas chromatograph but also extend the longevity of its critical components.
