The Tennessee 11, a film about our Citizen Solutions session on gun rights and safety, premiered last weekend at the Nashville Film Festival! At the afterparty, we were moved to see the film spark important and rare conversations between activists on different sides of the issue who found common ground — and explored ways to work together. Make It A Habit: Engage with dignity, even with adversaries???
An 80-person panel analyzed the Harris/Trump debate using the Dignity Index as a guide. Tom Rosshirt, creator of the Index, said, “The panelists show broad cross-partisan agreement on whether a passage expresses dignity or contempt — which means they can see contempt in a view they embrace and dignity in a view they oppose.”
